I recently transferred to a small private college with no greek greek life besides a med and business fraternity. Delta Sigma Pi is the business fraternity on campus. I was wondering if it would be worth pledging? I hear mixed reviews about this subject. Seeing how there are no social fraternities, i would assume this would be the 2nd best option. The ideal candidate is a 3.8+, summa, Phi Beta Kappa/Beta Gamma Sigma, top-bucket kid with two closed deals. Very, very few people fit that profile. The Sigma male piece is very interesting and something I want to get to. 'Sigma Males' do exist. But make no mistake - 95% of society are either Alpha, Beta, or some variation. The majority of these Sigma male grindset tools you see online are just beta males pretending to be something else as a coping mechanism.
